Everything has been taken care of. You’ll want to know the best times to go to Makkah and Madinah for Umrah so you can make the most of what is often a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Umrah, on the other hand, can be done at any time of the year, so there is no specific time to go. This is true, but it’s important to keep in mind that some months are better than others. There are many things to think about, like money and kids, but we’ve made things easier for you here. We’ll even give you a grade on our pilgrim-o-meter to tell you when you’ll see the most pilgrims throughout the year (the times that are busiest throughout the year).

When is the best time for you to travel to Umrah?

Umrah is great because you can do it at any time of year (except during Hajj). We’ve made a list of some of the benefits of travelling at different times of the year, starting with Ramadan, the month with the most good luck and virtue.

1. Ramadan:

Umrah done during Ramadan is definitely the best of the year, which is why it is our first choice. If you want more blessings from your Lord, Ramadan is the best time to pray because worshippers get a lot of good things in return. Ibn Abbas says that the Prophet of Allah told a woman from the Ansar that she should do Umrah when it was Ramadan because Umrah during that time was like Hajj. Ramadan often gets high marks on the pilgrim-o-meter because people from all over the world want to take advantage of the blessings of this month. Holy days of fasting, followed by holy nights of Tarawih, and then the reward of Hajj without having to do it.

2. Spring: Many pilgrims choose to do Umrah in the spring because the weather isn’t too hot or too cold. Spring is a good time to do Umrah, especially for people who might be surprised by how hot the desert is (also scoring highly on the pilgrim-o-meter). People from all over the world come to Makkah to worship Allah. This is the only city in the world where people never go to bed. There is, of course, a small downside if you’d rather go at a less busy time.

3. Winter: After the busyness of Hajj, many travellers find it relaxing to do Umrah during the winter months. Aside from Ramadan, winter is one of the best times for Umrah because the weather is good and the pilgrim-o-meter score is low. Also, if you’re doing Umrah with your family, this is one of the best times to plan trips and other fun things to do with them.

Is Umrah something that can be done at any time?
Umrah can be done by booking the low price umrah packages. We know that Umrah doesn’t have to be done at a certain time, unlike Hajj, which can only be done in the month of Dhul Hajj.
