“Take the azure pill…take the red pill…?”… remember the series?
“Take the azure pill…take the red pill…?”… recall the line?
These’re the original words uttered… the film line is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is living in a planet of controlled perception. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the film, is guiding younger Neo through a crazy ride of “reality” vs. belief. Similar to the movie it is my job, Exipure (click through the next website) as a personal trainer, to steer people with a journey in belief.
Along with “real-life” it seems that we, as depicted in this film, only think that taking a pill is able to provide us all of the solutions to our needs. The question of mine for you is…”Do you think all the problems of yours can be solved by snapping a pill?” Do you truly think that answers are available from drugs or even do you believe that answers originate from individual responsibility? I guess the true question is…”Do you trust prevention or “cure”?
Besides the quirky movie comparison… What is your perspective as related to health, fitness, and better living? Does better living come from much better pharmacology? Sure…I estimate millions of lives are saved from illness, illness, and hereditary failures. Do we accept responsibility for our behavior that contributes straight to health which is bad and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even if the newest weight loss pill did work – Do you find it going to work life-long? What are the risks associated with a lot of the newest weight loss supplements? Just about any pill we take has a “side-effect” attached to its use in many individuals. It seems folks are prepared to pay essentially anything to get the hands of theirs on the latest diet pill, or perhaps weight loss gimmick out there. Far worse – prescription drugs are passed out like candy to a huge selection of thousands of obese folks. As we all know a number of these medications have shown to be very dangerous, even deadly.
I guess most of the questions as well as frustrations I receive from folks relevant to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, can certainly be traced directlyto one very important as well as fundamental question: Are we a cure driven society or a prevention driven society? Does it make sense that the newest carbo-blocker, fat burner or maybe fat loss pill will reverse years of poor living? Do you really assume that your special responsibility is often absolved by a pill?
Lets’ grab the normal model of “dieting” for example: one system works like this, you are taking several pills in the morning – have a nutritional shake in the evening, chug down another handful of pills by late afternoon, and eat a boxed, pre-portioned, special dinner during the night. OK. – What goes on when you are going off this diet program? I estimate all of the spectacular results simply vanish entirely! Sure, they show you to take this particular item, then that product…then hold your breath for ten seconds while getting up and down…ok…ok, I’m getting carried away – I am aware. The point is; in case you’ve to fill the specific pills and perform the specific diet you just won’t get it done for long – that is why it is called a weight loss program. The name itself assures the person that it is a thing that you commence and stop! Not any, friends – better existence is not something you begin & stop, it’s a thing you reap some benefits from if you accept responsibility for the proper care of your body and well being.
So what’s the solution? Effectively, the answer of mine is asking yourself some vitally important questions.
One; Do you think that personal responsibility supersedes a cure-all (diet pill)?
