Noise Pollution Another Concern to Catch:
Noise pollution is also known as environmental noise or sound pollution it is the propagation of noise ranging with ranging impacts on the activity of human and animal life. If I see the source from which the the noise pollution occurs it is one of outdoor noise worldwide is from machines, transport and propagation systems.
The reason behind can be poor urban planning which may give rise to pollution. Also side by side industrial and residential buildings can give rise to pollution which may include loud music, transportation like traffic, rail, airplanes, lawn care maintenance, construction, electrical generators , explosion and people.
Due to this human disease are caused like hypertension, hearing loss, sleep disturbance and various cardiovascular dysfunction like dementia, psychological dysfunction.
It even affects badly on wildlife and marine life , when it comes to marine noise pollution , I would say that our oceans are no longer quiet . Thousands of oil drills, sonars, seismic surveys devices, coastal recreational watercraft and shipping vessel are now polluting our water that is the serious cause of noise pollution for marine life. Whales are most affected . Other can marine life , land and animals are also affected by noise pollution due to firecracker , traffic and birds are affected by the increased air traffic.
Along with all this it also affects social and Economic costs since it create sleep disturbance due to which it affects the work of individual during the whole day. As it leads to cardiovascular disease, hypertension and costs the health system additional time and money and it negatively affects the school performance of children .
Let’s come on to avoiding it so :
● Wear eyeplugs whenever exposure to elevated noise levels.
●Maintain a level of around 35dB in your bedroom at night and 40dB in your house during day .
●Choose your residential as far as removed from heavy traffic as you can.
●Avoid prolonged use of earphones, specially at elevated sound levels.
