After a busy summer of international football that included the European Championship, the Copa America and the Olympics, the 2021-22 season of the English Premier League has started with a bang. Manchester City looks to defend its title, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United — which just signed Cristiano Ronaldo — looming as the biggest obstacles to a Man City repeat. At the other end of the table, Norwich City won the Championship last season in fine style and was promoted along with London teams Watford and Brentford.
Man City dropped its first game of the season but rebounded with a resounding 5-0 win against Norwich. Meanwhile, 언브로큰 Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham, Brighton and Spurs have each started the season with two wins apiece to sit atop the Premier League standings. Matchweek 3 kicks off on Saturday with seven games, 언브로큰 with three to follow on Sunday.
Soccer fans in the US can watch Premier League games live on NBC, NBCSN, CNBC and USA Network. Spanish-language broadcasts are shown on Telemundo and Universo. And NBC’s streaming service Peacock shows games each week of the season. Most matches are on NBCSN or Peacock, with the occasional match shown Saturday or Sunday afternoon on NBC. Keep reading to see your options for watching English football from across the pond in the US.
