Fake link fraud by Harsh Vardhan Chaturvedi @lexcliq

A fake link is circulating on WhatsApp stating that the State Bank of India is conducting an online survey to check the quality of its service. The link further states that the bank will announce any 10 users and grant them a gift of 5 lakh rupees.
newsletter conducted a fact check to find out whether such a link is fake or not. “We could not find any details in the ‘about us’ column of SBI’s official website regarding the link. Also, we checked that the site conducting the online survey was different from the original website of the SBI i.e. said.co.in.” newsletter said. They also said that there were no news articles about such an online survey being conducted by SBI as it was a fake online survey.
A Twitter user tagged the official website of SBI asking whether the link is fake. SBI replied saying that: SBI neither runs nor endorses any kind of gift/lottery schemes. We advise you not to click on any such links or share any banking details. It is also advisable to report this attempt to the respective law enforcement agency. In another tweet, SBI said that clicking on these phishing links could lead to the loss of your personal and confidential information. Stay alert. Think before you click.
SBI KYC FRAUD:
SBI has also warned its customers against KYC fraud too. Currently, such KYC fraud is increasing. The fraudsters are fooling people by sending a fraud link in the form of KYC. SBI stated the fact that the bank never sends any link in order to update the personal details of its customers so do not share mobile number and any personal and confidential details with anyone.

Travelling are challenging but one should never look back once started. Hence each treks and travel has always taught me something. I have always been a fan of movies which calms you down.
