It is quite easy to learn intuitive. For example, double-click on the layer thumbnail, and the options for editing can be accessed. With the release of 2020 Update, Photoshop adds Sidecar mode once again to the main Photoshop interface. Sidecar mode works in conjunction with external displays and Adobe Horowitz calls on the technology to let you be more productive, especially with viewing, printing or exporting display-ready files. The basic idea behind Sidecar mode is the ability to have a doc, image or video open on a separate monitor while Photoshop is open, and view and edit the file simultaneously on two monitors or the same monitor.
